Here is the official CGPA formula that is followed by UAF University :
CGPA = Sum of total quality points from 1st to end semester / sum of total credit hours from 1st to end semester

Assume a student has completed courses across three semesters, and the grades for each course are as follows:

Total Quality Points:
- Semester 1: 12.0 + 12.0 = 24.0
- Semester 2: 11.1 + 9.9 = 21.0
- Semester 3: 6.9 + 12.0 = 18.9
Total Quality Points = 24.0 + 21.0 + 18.9 = 63.9
Total Credit Hours:
- Semester 1: 3 + 4 = 7
- Semester 2: 3 + 3 = 6
- Semester 3: 3 + 4 = 7
Total Credit Hours = 7 + 6 + 7 = 20
CGPA Calculation:
CGPA = Total Quality Points / Total Credit Hours = 63.9 / 20
Final CGPA: 3.20
